Stamp Issue “Centenary of the Chinese Educators’ Association of Macau”

Founded in 1920, the Chinese Educators’ Association of Macau is celebrating its centenary in this year. Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will issue the stamp theme “Centenary of the Chinese Educators’ Association of Macau” on 10^th September, 2020. This issue includes a set of four stamps and one souvenir sheet.

After the handover to the Motherland, Macao’s education has made great achievements with the efforts of all parties, including the Association. In recent years, the Association has extended its operations to the new frontiers by establishing groups such as Chinese, English, mathematics, preschool education and science in order to promote the teachers’ professional standards, their academic exchanges and scientific research.

In the future, upholding the law of inheritance and innovation, the Association will keep pace with the times by giving full play of its functions as a professional educational organization. It will strive to improve the quality of services, promote the innovation in its daily operation, and contribute to the steady development of Macao’s education and the cause of “one country, two systems”.

The above issue will be available for sale at the General Post Office (9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m.), the Communications Museum (9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m., 2:30p.m. to 5:30p.m.), and the “Rua do Campo” Post Office (9:00a.m. to 7:00p.m.). The mail service for the relative philatelic products cancelled with the commemorative postmark will be available on the issue date at the above locations. The philatelic products are as follows:

The stamp designer of this issue is Mr. Vai Chi Hang, and the text of the information brochure is written by the Chinese Educators’ Association of Macau.
