STAMP ISSUE “GIANT PANDAS”

To celebrate the couple of giant pandas offered by the Central Government to the Macao Special Administrative Region, Macao Post will issue the stamp theme “Giant Pandas” on 18^th December, 2010. This issue includes a set of two stamps and one souvenir sheet, featuring the charm of the national treasures – “Kai Kai” and “Xin Xin”

The above issue will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, from 9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m., the Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office and the Airport Post Office, from 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., and the Communications Museum, from 9:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. The registered mail service for the above philatelic products will be available on the issue date at the above locations. The philatelic products are as follows:

The stamp designer of this issue is Mr. Thomas Au Man Hou, and the text of the information brochure is written by the Civic and Municipal Affairs Bureau.

“Giant Pandas” Rag Doll Postcard

Macao Post will issue a set of two rag doll postcards titled “Giant Pandas” on 18 ^th December 2010, it will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, all post offices and postal kiosk “Ruins of St. Paul’s”. The design of this set of postcard is a pair of cute cartoon giant pandas. The design concept is different from the traditional postcard, the most distinctive feature is that the postcard can be transformed into a rag doll “Giant Panda” by yourself.

The selling price of a set of two “Giant Pandas ” rag doll postcards is MOP20.00. The postcard can be mailed to all over the world. In addition, it can also be transformed into a lovely rag doll for amusement.

Commemorative Postmark Cancellation Service of “11th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region”

To celebrate the 11^th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region, Macao Post announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at our Philatelic Shop located at Macao Post Headquarters at 9:00 to 17:30 on 20^th December 2010 providing the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “11^th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macao Special Administrative Region”.

     

A commemorative envelope priced at MOP2.50 will be issued, and various philatelic products will also be available for sale during the above activity.
