STAMP ISSUE “80th ANNIVERSARY OF THE FOUNDING OF HOU KONG MIDDLE SCHOOL”

Hou Kong Middle School was founded in 1932 and is a school committed to patriotism, loving Macao and cultivating talents for the society. The education provided by Hou Kong Middle School is open to all citizens, making no social distinctions in teaching, and the school implements the educational policy of comprehensive development of moral character, intelligence, physical health and aesthetics.

To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Macao Post will issue the stamp theme “80^th Anniversary of the Founding of Hou Kong Middle School” on 10^th June, 2012. This issue includes a set of four stamps and one souvenir sheet, with school developments, cultivation of the spirit to love the country and Macao, academic study, artistic edification, physical exercise and scientific exploration as the themes, the stamps fully display the campus life and teaching features of Hou Kong Middle School.

The above issue will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, from 9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m., and the Communications Museum, from 9:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. The mail service for the relative philatelic products cancelled with the commemorative postmark will be available on the issue date at the above locations. The stamp designer of this issue is Mr. Ng Wai Kin, and the text of the information brochure is written by Hou Kong Middle School.

To celebrate the “Commemoration of the 333th Anniversary of Na Tcha Ancient Temple at Macao’s ‘Verdades’ Steep Path”, Macao Post announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at Calçada das Verdades, No. 21 B r/c Macau between 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on July 6^th, 2012 providing the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “Commemoration of the 333th Anniversary of Na Tcha Ancient Temple at Macao’s ‘Verdades’ Steep Patch”.

A commemorative envelope will be distributed to public, and various philatelic products will also be available for sale during the above activity.

Commemorative Postmark Cancellation Service of “Science and Technology Week 2012”

To celebrate the Science and Technology Week 2012, Macao Post announced that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at the Macau Fisherman’s Wharf Hall and our Philatelic Shop located at Macao Post Headquarters during 6^th to 10^th July 2012 providing the commemorative cancellation service for the “Science and Technology Week 2012”.

Commemorative Postmark Cancellation Service of “World Heritage – the 7th Anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao”

To celebrate the World Heritage – the 7^th Anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao, Macao Post announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at the Lilau Square between 14:30 p.m. and 17:30 p.m. on July 15^th, 2012, providing the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “World Heritage – the 7^th Anniversary of the Historic Centre of Macao”.
