STAMP ISSUE “LUNAR YEAR OF THE SNAKE”

Macao Post will release the sixth issue of the third series of Chinese Zodiac philatelic products with the stamp theme “Lunar Year of the Snake” on the 3^rd January, 2013. The conceptual design of the stamp is combined with the different forms of the snake and the distinguishing characteristics of “Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth”. The year of snake, the snake’s nature from the “Five Elements” is “Water Snake”, so it becomes the main character of the five stamps. The colourful “Water Snake” is applied with emboss printing technique to highlight its scales, together with the hot foil stamping with symphony holographic on the stamp border, giving the festive spirit of Lunar New Year.

The above issue will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, from 9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m., the “Rua do Campo” Post Office, from 9:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., the Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office and the Airport Post Office, from 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., and the Communications Museum, from 9:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. The mail service for the relative philatelic products cancelled with the commemorative postmark will be available on the issue date at the above locations. ANNUAL ALBUM 2012

Macao Post will issue the Annual Album 2012 on 3rd January 2013, it will be available for sale at the Philatelic Shop of Macao Post Headquarters, “Rua do Campo” Post Office, Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office, Airport Post Office, and the Communications Museum. An exquisite protective hard cover with the image of an auspicious dragon flying through the clouds and highlighted in gold foil to bring out the majesty of this animal in the Chinese Zodiac. This album comprises the full collection of 2012 stamps and souvenir sheets, on which the colour stamp images and the technical data are printed on the pages. This Album is priced at MOP328.00, it is certainly an excellent product, either as a collectable or as an elegant gift.



Customers can also purchase the empty Annual Album, by which the purchased 2012 Macao’s stamps and souvenir sheets can be protectively organized. Empty Annual Album is priced at MOP110.00.

“Macao’s Lunar Year of the Snake Stamp” Lucky Ornament

TO celebrate the coming Chinese New Year, Macao Post will issue a lucky ornament titled “Macao’s Lunar Year of the Snake Stamp” on 3^rd January 2013. It is engraved with laser techniques for highlighting the Macao Post Headquarters’ building and a thin wooden card with the wood snake stamp image is affixed on the other side. The unique design is certainly a precious and commemorative collectable. It will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, the “Rua do Campo” Post Office, the Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office, the Airport Post Office and the Communications Museum and the selling price is MOP 15.00.

SUPPLEMENTS FOR PHILATELIC ALBUM OF MACAO 2012

Macao Post will release the “Supplements for Philatelic Album of Macao 2012” on 3 January 2013, it will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters and the Communications Museum. The album pages are pre-printed with all the stamps’ images of 2012. Your collections of stamps and souvenir sheets of 2012 can be put into the pre-printed pages for convenient storage.
