Stamp Issue “120
th Anniversary of the Printing Bureau”

Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will issue the stamp theme “120th Anniversary of the Printing Bureau” on 22nd February, 2021. This issue includes a set of two stamps and one souvenir sheet.
The Printing Bureau, is one of the public services of the Macao Special Administrative Region and has a long history, it was founded on 16th November, 1900 and came into operation on 1st January, 1901. It was originally known as the “National Press”, renamed later on 18th May, 1985 as “Macau Official Press”, and the current name “Printing Bureau”, was adopted after the reunification.
120 years is a very long period, Macao’s progress has been recorded, the development of the society has been witnessed, and the rapid advances in printing technology has been demonstrated. Over the past 120 years, the Printing Bureau has embraced the hard work and dedication of the previous generations, as well as the spirit of paving the way for the future and is committed to a pragmatic and practical approach. With this set of commemorative stamps, we would like to pay sincere tribute to the contributions of those printing predecessors.
The above issue will be available for sale at the General Post Office (9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m.), the Communications Museum (9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m., 2:30p.m. to 5:30p.m.), and the “Rua do Campo” Post Office (9:00a.m. to 7:00p.m.). The mail service for the relative philatelic products cancelled with the commemorative postmark will be available on the issue date at the above locations. The philatelic products are as follows:

This is the second theme of 2021 issues. The previous issued stamps are “Lunar Year of the Ox” on 05/01/2021, and the label stamp “Lunar Year of the Ox” on 20/01/2021.
