Macao Post and Telecommunications Bureau will issue the stamp theme “Rejoicing” on 9th October, 2023. This is the fifth issue of the similarly-themed series of commemorative stamp after “Love and Blessings”, “Celebration”, “Festivity” and “Joy” issued between 2005 and 2018. In addition, personalized stamps of the same theme are also issued.
The word “Rejoicing” carries the meaning of expressing great happiness and celebrating joyfully. We rejoice when we celebrate festivities or special occasions such as birthday parties, traditional festivals and anniversary celebrations held by an organisation or a country. When we are immersed in this atmosphere, we always feel extremely happy, pleased and joyful.
This commemorative stamp includes of a set of two stamps. The first stamp, which is in bright red, features Chinese lanterns and paper fans, and illustrates the joyous moments of a family enjoying a heart-warming reunion meal. The second stamp is in golden colour and depicts golden ribbons fluttering in the wind and a bow being formed when the purple ribbons wrap around the clinking glasses.
Personalised stamps are customised mementos for individuals to commemorate the birthdays, graduations, wedding anniversaries, festivals and family portraits of themselves and their beloved ones, thereby preserving innumerable precious moments of their lives. Companies, organisations and associations can include their company names as well as concrete images and symbols on the personalised stamps to become exclusive business gifts.
