STAMP ISSUE “MACAO SEEN BY LOK CHEONG”

Lok Cheong was the former President of the Macau Artist Society. He dedicated his life to the promotion of arts education in Macao and encouraging cultural exchanges forming many artists in Macao. In 2001, Lok Cheong was awarded the Medal Cultural Merit by the Macao SAR Government. Macao Post will issue the stamp theme “Macao Seen by Lok Cheong” on 21st September, 2012. Through the issue of stamp by promoting the landscapes of Macao, and also paying tribute to him for his pioneering contribution in the promotion of arts activities in Macao. This issue includes a set of four stamps and one souvenir sheet, whose paintings are part of the most representative works by Lok Cheong.

The above issue will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, from 9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m., the “Rua do Campo” Post Office, from 9:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., the Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office and the Airport Post Office, from 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., and the Communications Museum, from 9:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. The mail service for the relative philatelic products cancelled with the commemorative postmark will be available on the issue date at the above locations. The composition of this issue is designed by Mr. Lok Chong, and the text of the information brochure is written by Mr. Lok Pó.

REPRINT OF PERSONALIZED STAMPS “CELEBRATION”

Macao Post will issue the reprint of personalized stamps “Celebration” on 21st September, 2012, its original design and stamp codes remain unchanged; for identification, the year of printing has been changed to (REIMP 2012).



The first edition of these personalized stamps was issued on 9th October 2008, and were later reprinted and issued on 8th April 2009, 1st May 2010 and 1st December 2011 respectively.

With the service of Macao Post, customers can select his own photos to be printed on personalized stamps “Celebration” in creating a unique stamp sheetlet of his own. It’s a great choice of special occasions for the associations and individuals.


Commemorative Postmark Cancellation Service of “3rd CHINA CATERING EXPO”

To celebrate the 3rd CHINA CATERING EXPO, Macao Post announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at Venetian Macao Convention & Exhibition Center, on 21st to 23rd September 2012, providing the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “3rd CHINA CATERING EXPO”.

          

A commemorative envelope will be distributed to public, and various philatelic products will also be available for sale during the above activity. The service hours are as following:
21 - 22/09 11:00 to 19:00
23/09 11:00 to 18:00

Commemorative Postmark Cancellation Service of “World Heart Day”

To commemorate the World Heart Day, Macao Post announced that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at the Tap Seac Plaza, at 16H00 to 19H00 on 23rd September 2012 providing the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “World Heart Day”.

          



On that day, Macao Heart Foundation will sell the commemorative envelope and a cover, priced at 15.00 patacas and 20.00 patacas at the mentioned location. The revenue will be for the charity purpose.

Commemorative Postmark Cancellation Service of “Celebration of the 63rd Anniversary of the Establishment of the People’s Republic of China”

To celebrate the 63rd Anniversary of the Establishment of the People’s Republic of China, Macao Post announces that a Temporary Post Counter will be set up at our Philatelic Shop located at Macao Post Headquarters at 9:00 to 17:30 on 1st October 2012 providing the commemorative postmark cancellation service for the “Celebration of the 63rd Anniversary of the Establishment of the People’s Republic of China”.

          

A commemorative envelope priced at MOP2.50 will be issued, and various philatelic products will also be available for sale during the above activity.
