STAMP ISSUE "LUNAR YEAR OF THE HORSE"

Macao Post will release the seventh issue of the third series of Chinese Zodiac philatelic products with the stamp theme "Lunar Year of the Horse" on the 3^rd January, 2014. The conceptual design of the stamp is combined with the different forms of the horse and the distinguishing characteristics of "Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth". The year of horse, the horse’s nature from the "Five Elements" is "Wood Horse", so it becomes the main character of the five stamps. The "Wood Horse" stamp is applied with emboss printing technique to highlight the elegant posture of neighing horse, together with the hot foil stamping with symphony holographic on the stamp border. The souvenir sheet uses the carousel as the theme, which well represents that Macao is a tourism hot spot, brings people joy and happiness, implying a joyful and harvest year.

The above issue will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, from 9:00a.m. to 5:30p.m., the "Rua do Campo" Post Office, from 9:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., the Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office and the Airport Post Office, from 10:00a.m. to 7:00p.m., and the Communications Museum, from 9:30a.m. to 5:30p.m. The mail service for the relative philatelic products cancelled with the commemorative postmark will be available on the issue date at the above locations. "Macao’s Lunar Year of the Horse Stamp" Lucky Ornament

TO celebrate the coming Chinese New Year, Macao Post will issue a lucky ornament titled "Macao’s Lunar Year of the Horse Stamp" on 3^rd January 2014. It is engraved with laser techniques for highlighting the Macao Post Headquarters’ building and a thin wooden card with the wood horse stamp image is affixed on the other side. The unique design is certainly a precious and commemorative collectable. It will be available for sale at the Macao Post Headquarters, the "Rua do Campo" Post Office, the Maritime Ferry Terminal Post Office, the Airport Post Office and the Communications Museum and the selling price is MOP 15.00.
